At the end of March we said goodbye to two women who have been with SVL for a combined total of 70 years: Chris Meyer and Melba Bencich. Congratulations on your RETIREMENT!
Chris Meyer (left) started at SVL in 1978. She has headed up the Client Services department for the last 28 years.? Her welcoming and confident nature has guided clients through lengthy and complicated projects with ease, gaining SVL a reputation for impeccable professional service.
Melba Bencich (right) started working at SVL in 1988 and has worked in the Document Control Office all of her years.? Melba?s organizational skills and patience were the driving force for turning hundreds of pages of individual analyses into comprehensive reports for clients.? Organization and transparency are the foundation for any good business. Melba was our rock for maintaining the most essential aspects of SVL?s business.
Chris and Melba?s legacy of outstanding service and teamwork is carried on by Heather LaPierre and Dianne Gardner.? Heather and Dianne have served in many positions at SVL over their combined 23 years. They bring their expertise and enthusiasm to their new positions.
Chris and Melba?s coworkers consider them friends or family first. Sharing lunches and laughter, coffee and conversation, these two went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and keep SVL a fun and lively place to work.? We will all have to step up to keep this tradition alive and when trying to decide between ribbons and bows, hot dogs or spam sandwiches, bingo or boot-scootin? races. We will ask ourselves? what would Chris and Melba do?
